We provide intensive support and training to individual medical and mental health professionals who want to learn how to conduct forensic evaluations. Our network of highly skilled and experienced evaluators mentors and guides trainees through their first few cases. We offer quarterly mentorship meetings for evaluators to present and discuss cases and receive ongoing consult and support.
Since our inception in 2019, we have trained over 100 health professionals. We understand that providing forensic asylum evaluations is challenging work. By creating space for ongoing learning and peer education, we support our evaluators as they assess complex cases.
We make the work sustainable, building a sense of community to help our evaluators avoid burnout.
